Episode 34: The Vocalist, Again
Once again, my solo journey to find a vocalist began.
Good vocalists were hard to come by.
Around this time, through a connection, I started getting requests to compose BGM. One song, 30 seconds, for 40,000 yen — and more than once, I was asked to make ten of them at a time. I was deeply grateful for the work.
I'd also been making music with a computer (DTM) since 1998, so mastering work on my PC became something I was often hired for too. I remember doing mastering for a certain idol group's live DVD, among other things.
Around that time, another female vocalist appeared.
She was genuinely talented.
Around then, I also met up with Ippei for the first time in a while.
I wondered how things would turn out.
To be continued.
