In Japan, "Raiden" is the word for the power born when thunder and lightning become one. It has been given as a name to sumo wrestlers, swords, and armor alike — each time embodying an overwhelming presence and force.

The crocodile-embossed leather catches light and shadow in equal measure. Its 12 conchos represent a constellation, casting their own radiance.
