Ibanez (Part 10)

Steve Vai... Passion and Warfare.

This album was insane. I had no idea how he was even making those sounds. A guitar that talks back to you. Songs where you could never predict where they'd go.

He really was an alien.

Wait, what? The guitar's an Ibanez? And seven strings — what even is that??

Warrant, Reb Beach — all of them, Ibanez. Why?

Oh, there's a ton of them. Guitarists who play Ibanez.

Paul Gilbert. John Petrucci. Joe Satriani. Alex Skolnick.

It's all shredders! Guess I have to listen to every single one of these CDs now.

Around that time, my friend was obsessed with Paul Gilbert's Mr. Big.

He told me the pick Paul Gilbert used was incredibly easy to play with, so I bought one too.

It really was easy to play. Just the right firmness, just the right size.

Up until then, I'd been using James Hetfield's Metallica pick.

Great for downpicking — but it's huge.

Dare to wear the difference. Shop the straps here.
