Episode 38: Can We Film Your Live Show?

While we were playing live shows, a record label reached out. They wanted to make an internal presentation about us.

For that, they asked us to come to their head office once.

For me, this was the third time a record label had approached us. Somehow, I found myself judging it calmly.

The vocalist looked happy.

We went to hear them out at the label's office, which was in Mita at the time.

They wanted to film us with just an acoustic guitar and vocals.

They said they had been looking for a two-person act.

"Why us?"

The songs are good. And the two of you look good, they said.

I see.

So we agreed: at our next live show, we'd play one song on acoustic guitar, and they would film it.

The filming went off without a hitch, and two weeks later, we got a call...
